Adult Catalog Summer 2024: Weaving

The beginner is introduced to all steps of weaving including winding a warp, threading a loom, reading a draft, and weaving a variety of patterns. Finishing techniques will also be covered. The Intermediate student receives individualized instruction and is encouraged to explore the diversity of the craft. Additional studio hours called bench time, are offered at no extra charge. Materials are extra. 

All weaving classes are held on our second floor weaving studio which is only accessible by stairs. 

Bench times: We are happy to announce we are expanding weaving bench times in an effort to give weavers more flexible opportunities to work on their projects. Bench times are as follows and are open to all students:

Monday 9:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Tuesday 12:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (except for July 4th)
Wednesday 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Thursday 12:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Friday 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Saturday 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. 
Sunday 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
