Adult Catalog Fall 2021: Jewelry

Metalsmithing courses are designed to accommodate the beginner as well as the advanced student, covering all the fundamental topics of jewelry making and basic techniques including: sawing, filing, soldering, texturing and patina coloring. Individual attention will allow the student to progress at their own pace. Students with previous experience will have the opportunity to select a project. Materials are extra.

Due to precautions against Covid-19, some of our studio procedures have changed. We would like to provide a safe and clean environment to all of our staff, instructors, members, and students. Please take note of the following:

  • Bench times available for JT1 & JTH1 ONLY -  students in these classes will have 1 additional hour directly after their scheduled class time to work on their projects (12:30 pm - 1:30 pm)

  • If you are vaccinated, it is now optional to wear a face mask while in the building.

  • Wash hands upon entering the building.

  • No eating in the studio. Coffee machine is off limits. Please eat outside if necessary.

An email providing more information regarding our cleaning procedures will be sent out before the start of class.
