Are you ready to dive into the world of pottery? Our Teen Pottery Classes are designed to give you the same hands-on experience and structured learning as our adult classes, with an extra focus on fun, creativity, and skill-building. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this course will guide you through the exciting process of wheel-throwing and glazing stoneware pottery.

You’ll get the chance to explore both wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques as you shape your own pieces. Our skilled instructor, Shawn Hansen, will demonstrate key methods and provide one-on-one instruction, ensuring you understand each step of creating your pottery, from forming the clay to perfecting your glaze and adding decorative touches.

Throughout the course, you'll learn essential skills such as:

• Wheel-throwing: Master the art of creating beautiful, symmetrical forms on the potter’s wheel.
• Hand-building: Experiment with various hand-building techniques to create unique and personal pottery pieces.
• Glazing & Decorative Techniques: Apply glaze and learn different methods to add texture and color to your creations.

With each session, you’ll have dedicated bench time to practice and refine your skills. Your work will be fired in our kilns, ensuring a high-quality finish—but remember, only clay supplied by the studio can be used for firing.
