Bring a touch of color and nature into your home by creating a beautiful stained glass suncatcher that doubles as a charming bud vase. Students will choose one of three panel designs to personalize their project:

• Rectangle (10" × 6")
• Circle (10" diameter)
• Oval (10" × 5")

Using colorful stained glass, you'll learn the techniques needed to assemble and solder your chosen design into a finished piece that's both decorative and functional. A metal ring will be soldered near the top of the panel to securely hold a glass test tube bud vase... perfect for displaying a fresh flower, sprig of greenery, or seasonal stem. Jump rings will also be soldered to each upper corner, allowing the finished piece to hang gracefully from a decorative chain in a sunny window or on a wall, where the glass will catch and reflect the light.
