Description

Create a dazzling set of three-dimensional, five-pointed stained glass stars in this exciting class! Students will learn how to solder clean right-angle joints using forms to support the pieces during assembly. Stars range in size from approximately 3½" to 6½", and students may choose to make all three the same size or create a graduated set featuring each of the three sizes.

Each finished star will be fitted with either a tinned copper wire jump ring or a swivel hanger (student's choice) soldered at the apex for display. The stars can be suspended from a ceiling hook with fishing line, hung in a sunny window using a suction cup hook, or displayed on a winter holiday tree.

At the beginning of class, instructors will present a colorful palette of specially selected stained glass for students to choose from.
