Open to summer/fall term weaving students and Key Members only.

Curious about the geometry and shifting patterns of shadow weave? We will host a shared studio exploration centered on a dedicated shadow weave gamp prepared on one of the studio floor looms.

Designed as an ongoing independent workshop, this project offers participants the opportunity to study, sample, and experiment directly on a threaded loom while developing a deeper understanding of this weave structure.

Participants may use their scheduled studio week to weave samples, test trading variations, explore color effects, and observe how subtle changes influence pattern and cloth behavior. This is an independent, self-directed workshop rather than a formal class. Written notes and reference materials will be available at the loom for participants to consult during their scheduled week.

Weekly sign-up sheets will be posted in the studio.

Each participant may reserve one week on a first-come, first-served basis once registered.
