Description

Adult Pottery Independent Study is for students who have completed at least two classes at Wesleyan Potters and would like time to continue practicing their skills.

There is no instructor. A staff member or Key Member will be available for general questions.

Only work made in our studio using clay supplied by Wesleyan Potters may be fired in our kilns. Clay fires at different temperatures, so we cannot fire outside clay.

Maximum: 14 students per session.

• Clay must be purchased from Wesleyan Potters and is an additional cost. You may bring your own tools or purchase them here.

• Glaze materials and firing are included in the cost of clay.

• Clay may be purchased during the first hour of your Independent Study session or by phone during regular office hours. If you purchase clay by phone, a staff member will place it on your assigned shelf.
