Description
How you finish your work is important. Have you ever wondered which glue is the best or which thread or metal you should use? This is the workshop for you! You will be able to identify which tools are best for the job. All of the basic cold connections of jewelry making will be covered including: making different clasps, how to connect and add beads to your work, earwires, jump rings, and other attachments.

Students will need to purchase their own materials
Materials Needed:
notebook and a pencil for note taking
round nose pliers
chain nose pliers
wire cutters
ball peen hammer
metal block or surface to hammer on
20 gauge copper or brass wire (save your silver for after you learn)
a few 10mm beads (the 20 gauge wire should fit through the center of the beads)
metal file
Emery board file for acrylic nails (from the salon or the local cvs type store)
