Description

This workshop is for intermediate/advanced students interested in expanding their twill basket-weaving skills. Shaping will be emphasized in this 2-day workshop. Good hand-stregnth is needed for shaping the cat-head bottom. The basket measured 8 inches high with a 12 inch diameter at the top and starts with a 4 1/2 inch square twilled bottom pattern which continues up the sides of the basket. Color options will be available for weaving the wall of your basket.

Students will need to bring standard basketry tools along with a water bucket and spray bottle.
