Description

The curriculum includes hand-building, wheel-throwing, glaze application and decorative techniques on high-fired stoneware. Demos and hands on instruction will be offered throughout the course, including slip decoration, altering thrown forms, creating composite pieces, exploring texture, using the extruder, and various techniques for applying glazes. Because clay melts at different temperatures, only pots made in our studio with clay supplied by the Pottery may be fired in our kilns.
