Description
The curriculum includes hand-building, wheel throwing, glaze application and decorative techniques on high-fired stoneware. This class will showcase surface decoration using assorted techniques including slip and underglaze and oxide application using stencils, trailers, paper and wax resist, mono printing, inlay and sgraffito. Demos and hands on instruction will be offered throughout the course. Because clay melts at different temperatures, only pots made in our studio with clay supplied by the Pottery may be fired in our kilns.
